Every day thousands of lives are lost to terrorism, religion, war, jealousy, pride, and imperialism. Itâs just too much to take in. We close our eyes, imagine that there is nothing we can do and everything feels fine. That is what this pattern is about.
From a distance everything looks fine but when you look closer you notice that something is wrong.
The base for the print is âBersÃ¥â. A pattern designed by Stig Lindberg for ceramics made by Gustavsberg between 1960 and 1974.
First showed at the Stockholm furniturefair 2006, now a part of the Swedish national museums collection of contemporary design. www.nationalmuseum.se
